The sound of ever so soft footsteps was obscured by the steady sound of rain hitting the leaves of the flora of the jungle. Tsanten tread lightly as all Na'vi did, silently ghosting through the forest, bow and arrows in one hand, the other empty as seemed to walk with no particular hurry as if he had all the time in the world... which he did. Tsanten, one of the most sought-after Omaticaya weavers had run out of some of his dyes and like most weavers, they gathered and made their own unique dyes, the recipes for such were a closely guarded secret. Tsanten was no exception to this as he had a bag slung over his shoulder, gourd containers within to collect the plants he needed to make his dyes back home later. He knew exactly where to find these plants, as again, each weaver seemed to have their own cache that they collected from alone to make sure no one took too many plants so as not to be putting these precious plants in jeopardy.
Thus the weaver walked, and finally came to his first stop of the day, where several purple-red flowers grew as Tsanten laid down his bow and arrows so he could pull out a small gourd-bottle and special sickle-shaped knife. He knelt next to a flower and with an expert hand and gentle touch, he bent the the flower back a bit to show a sac underneath. With his knife he pierced the sac and put the bottle under it as a smelly white fluid dripped out into the bottle. It was amazing, Tsanten mused as he finished with the first flower and moves to a second, that this smelly white fluid made the most beautiful red dye. He wondered who had discovered this for the first time as he thought one wouldn't figure that out right away just to look at the stuff. Maybe it was an insight from Eywa then. After only two flowers, he moved to a whole new plant several plants away, leaving several flowers alone. One could take the fluid from them all, but that would do more harm than good to these beautiful plants, plus if he took it all he'd have nothing for when he needed it later. Thus the Na'vi way was followed in that he only took what he needed and he made a point not to take much. Engrossed in his work he didn't pay much attention to his surroundings like usual with this carefree Na'vi male...

The terrain was quiet as the Na'vi woman traveled beyond her borders, running through the forest and balancing on tree branches with ease. She made a soft chirping sound, and out from seemingly no where a large dragon like creature appeared, its red and green scale-like skin flinching with anticipation as it let out a roar. "Hush, Saravi." She said softly and connected her braid to the ikrans and swiftly got onto her slender back. "Hunt." She hissed to her Ikran, and in an instance they were both off the ground, flying through the air. The roar of the Ikran sounded through the air, with it the war cry of the rider known as Ne'nat.
A target was found, a na'vi man hunting plants that the Ikran could see clearly. Going straight into a head dive, Ne'nat held tightly as the Ikran landed just feet away from the Na'vi man, roaring with hunger. "Be still.." Whispered Ne'nat.. for now she would hold back her beast. She looked at the man, the Ikran still growling at its prey.
"Your name." She demanded of him, looking him straight in the eye. Her eyes were cold, she did not approve of the Omaticaya Tribe for they had been known to let a dreamwalker into their tribe so many, many years ago. That rumor of a infamous legend led her to more hatred, showing now as she looked at the Na'vi man, her hand on a dagger that lay in her belt. "Your name!" She hissed again, looking at him.. He was fairly handsome, but this was not the time to check out na'vi men. Now was the time to send a message. To join the war against humans.. Or else.

Tsanten didn't get much of a warning; the way the forest around him became eerily quiet, the rush of air, the rustle of the leaves of the flora around him before an Ikran came crashing through the canopy above and landed trumpeting to all the world its arrival. Tsanten instantly was on his feet, trying to run away, but his klutziness got the better of him as he tripped, landing face first into a bush, scratching his face up some. He rolled over to finally notice that there was a rider on the Ikran, a female with a beautiful, but hard face.
"Your name!" she demanded twice, the first time he just stared at her like a dolt as if she was speaking in some alien language.
His blood rushed in his ears as adrenaline raced through his body, making every nerve very jumpy indeed, his brain finally slowed enough to understand what she was asking.
"T-Tsanten!" he blurted out with both hands up in a defensive gesture as he was still on his back before the menacing Ikran and its rider, "W-what do you want?"
Only now he realized his bow, quiver full of arrows and his knife were far from him, thrown wide when she landed as she did. He was defenseless! He groaned inwardly as he could just see the disapproval on his Mother's face for making such a rookie faux pas. However as his mind whorled he did have one last ace up his sleeve.
Quickly he made a high pitched whistle as a moment later his own female Ikran Sylwanin dove down through the canopy to defend her bonded with a feral roar of her own. Scrambling to his feet, he grabbed his knife (as that was in reach) and ran to Sylwanin's side. The smaller female Ikran hissed and snarled, showing her teeth as her tail lashed to and fro, her hot temper fully aroused at any who dare threaten her bonded.
Feeling a bit bolstered by this, it was his turn to make demands, "What is your problem? Who are you to attack me so?"

The na'vi womans Ikran landed and roared its arrival, its teeth shown at the male. "T-Tsanten!" He seemed to almost whimper when she demanded his name. "W-What do you want?" Her knife was pulled out by now, she ran her finger over it absentmindedly, her eyes never leaving him. A groan was heard from him, and she laughed softly as he whistled and called for a female Ikran, smaller then her own. Laughing as the Ikran tried to protect him, she gazed cruelly at him. He seemed to have gained confidence, she put a hand on her own Ikran and hissed.. "Dare I command him to kill your own bonded? If not, call her off."
She only then considered him, his slight bravery now that he was no longer fumbling for his knife. "Do you really think you can out-manuever a Tsampongu warrior?" She said, then added for effect, "You don't even seem to know how to defend yourself, without the help of your bonded. And it is a question of how big a man you are to let your bonded die instead of trying to defend yourself."
She sheathed her knife, she put a hand on her Ikran and said softly, "Hush now.. Go find yourself some kills." With that her Ikran flew away, giving a disgruntled snarl as it flew out of the canopy. Looking back to him, she put her hand back on her knife. "If you really want to dance, then you will do so without the help of your bonded."
Pulling out an arrow and bow in one swift motion, she threw it through the air, and it pierced the tree directly next to him. "Next time I aim to kill." She warned, then pulled out another arrow, aimed at his heart. "Remember these arrows stop your heart in less then a minute flat.. Now.. Tell me.. How many dreamwalkers have you killed? How many humans have you tortured?" It was evident by the tone of her voice that his answer would determine whether she attacked or not. "Lie and you get this arrow through your heart, after I call back my Ikran and have her kill your bonded."
He was handsome, she considered, but did not lower her weapon. Her eyes held a fire. "If you knew your history of Pandora, you would be better at defending yourself and your lands." She said, then her tones softened, she lowered her bow and walked over to him fearlessly. Her hand took his, she looked at him and smirked. "Never seen a man like you.. Why don't you let me teach you some hunting skills? It could be beneficial for you and your future as a warrior."

"Dare I command him to kill your own bonded? If not, call her off."
"And leave myself at the mercy of a mad-woman invading my Clan's territory, I think not!" Tsanten shouted back without thinking, then added, "Pfft, she may be small, but one shouldn't underestimate her, for everything your Ikran can do to her, she'll do ten-fold to yours!"
Almost in response, Sylwanin roared in compliment to what he said, the Ikran's muscles rippling as the only thing holding her back was Tsanten's light touch on her neck.
"Do you really think you can out-manuever a Tsampongu warrior?" She said, then added for effect, "You don't even seem to know how to defend yourself, without the help of your bonded. And it is a question of how big a man you are to let your bonded die instead of trying to defend yourself."
Great, she was one of the Tsampongu, those war-crazed Na'vi from what essentially was a rogue clan. He spit on the ground in front of him in answer to her, he had no words for her as it was embarrassingly true, he was no warrior deep down, he was a pacifist, a weaver. His life was dedicated to making art, not death.
"If you really want to dance, then you will do so without the help of your bonded." she chided him, then planted an arrow deep into a tree next to the frightened Omaticaya male and his enraged Ikran.
"What, so you can just shoot me dead anyway?"
His face twisted in disbelief, this woman was insane! Why would he lie to her? He had no reason to lie to anyone, let alone a crazy female attacking him in his own Clan's territory!
"What warrior are you who constantly threatens other Na'vi to get something that doesn't happen between us to begin with? Or do Tsampongu lie so much they have to threaten each other to get any truth? Or maybe it is more to the point you lie to yourselves so much you don't know truth when you hear it?"
He shook his head as he tried to make his heart stop racing, but it was impossible considering the situation he was in, "Of course I have never killed any uniltìrantokx or tortured tawtute! I've never met any, I'm a weaver! I barely leave the loom tree except to get my dye ingredients! Why are you hounding me so?"
As she grew closer, Sylwanin snarled and snapped at her, but it didn't seem to faze the crazy female. Her touch was soft as she grabbed his hand, but it just made his skin crawl, now what was she after, he wondered? His hazel-brown eyes finally got a chance to look her over as she was very beautiful, but there was an odd light in her eyes, one that scared him more than anything else.
"Why should I want to learn anything from one who threatens me so?" He asked in earnest quietly as he couldn't look away from the fearsome female.

She felt herself spitting out verbal attacks on him, her eyes raging with a fire.
He seemed to spit it out, and after a moment he had spat on the ground when she told him her tribe. She hissed softly, "Don't... do that..." She warned, then as her tones were challenging as she told him to fight without the help of his Ikran. "What so you can shoot me dead anyway?"
She smirked, laughing just a little. "What use is it to kill someone who is nor dreamwalker nor human? Just a weaver." She said, then she strode fearlessly toward him, taking his hand. He seemed spiteful of her by now, but she had softened just a little. How long it would last was anyones guess, but for now the fire in her eyes faded as he asked "Why should I want to learn anything from one who threatens me so?" In earnest, and she found they could not take their eyes off each other.
"Intriguing.." she whispered more to herself then to him, then looked at him and drew in a breathe, she looked at his handsome features and stood beside him, her arm around his waist while the other one held his hand.. Her own eyes had softened, she looked into his. She recalled his comment about his tribe.. He really cared for them, which struck her deep in her heart as she remembered her childhood days in the Omaticaya tribe. "No one has ever shown such passion.. If only the passion were for me." She ended in a whisper, trailing off and pulling away... All she had known in her tribe was cruel antics and hard core training. There was no room for a soft heart, nor soft words..
Then she thought for a moment she recognized him.. Yes, it was him.. they had grown up in the same tribe, always friends.. Even crushes.. their small embraces, how they used to do simple things for the other...
"T-Tsanten.." She whispered, the realization that she had nearly killed her childhood friend hitting her like a arrow to the heart. She met his eyes, then looked away and repeated herself, dropping to her knees... Tears filled her eyes. "Forgive me.." She whispered... "It is I... Ne'nat.." She whispered, looking up to him... "Tsanten... F-Forgive me... Eywa forgive me... "
She shook her head, burying her face in her hands... "What has become of me..." She managed, looking at her hands as she looked at them.. Blood shed, the blood of her parents murdered while she had met a stranger in the woods. The stranger who had convinced her her older brother had killed her parents. She had been only eleven when she had killed her brother, stabbing an arrow in his heart while he slept.. Then she had left, to the tribe she now called home.. They convinced her that humans had made her brother kill her parents, and anger and regret had grown inside her... Being banished from the Omaticaya tribe.. from her friends... someone had betrayed her.. and then she had betrayed them... It was all too much to think about.
"What must you think of me..." She whispered.. She let the tears come. Her friend.. her crush who she had been growing up thinking about how Eywa would let them be together when they were old enough, how she had playfully always pretended they were mates... She buried her face in her hands, managing a faint, "Forgive me..."

Confusion reigned on Tsanten's features, as the female before him was scaring the dickens out of him as well as just acting insane. What did she want of him? While he knew the their Clans weren't exactly on the best of terms right now, they weren't at war or anything... where they? Maybe he ought to pay more attention at Clan gatherings for news such as that...
She mumbled something he didn't quite catch as Sylwanin snarled at the offending female once more. He grabbed his bonded's neural queue and joined with the Ikran, as the beast was just as confused as he, was he in danger or not? He replied silently as best he could, for he had no clue either, this female's emotions seemed to swing back and forth like the wind and just as fast.
However...
"Ne'nat...?" he said slowly at first, not quite catching on, but then he blinked and stared really hard at the female before him.
His brow furrowed as he looked into her eyes, then over her face, down her body and back up again. Memories flooded through him as he slowly started to recognize the little girl in the woman grown before him. Gone was the bright smile and happy eyes, now she was a mean, lean fighting machine. What had happened to the little one he used to know who loved to tease him so and stick things in his hair. The constant companion that he would have rather spent time with then getting drug off by his Mother for more futile 'training'? The girl he used to make a ton of jewelry for out of the sweet-smelling grasses that grew just outside the camp?
"Ne'nat," she said softly, "What ever happened to you? After your family was killed, and your brother? We all thought you dead too! I mourned for you like no other! I am so glad to know you are alive... but... you are not the little girl I once knew. Why are you so full of hate and spite?"
Tsanten looked at her with such pained eyes, it felt like his heart was splitting in two all over again, on one hand he was overjoyed to know she was still alive, but on the other hand, he was horrified at the person she had become...
